I hope so, him and Kendall Wright would be nice. Better than Kevin Walter and Jacoby Jones.

The Texans will probably draft the best player available with the 26th pick in round one. I agree if Kendall Wright drops to 26 they'll take him. They may still cut Jacoby Jones before the season starts if Lestar Jean out-performs him in training camp and the pre-season. Wright's speed would make him dangerous in the Texans offense and he can return punts and be a huge weapon on special teams.

Right now, Houston is trying to re-sign Duane Brown, Connor Barwin and Matt Schaub to long-term contracts. They should have enough salary cap space to do that before all three become free agents next year. That's a big reason why they've been making so many cost-cutting moves over the past month. They don't want to be in the same mess next off-season.

I like the signing of Bradie James even if he's a little older because the Texans have a ton of talent on defense. All he has to do is stop the run and feed off the great pass rush Houston has. He had five straight seasons with over 100 tackles prior to last year. He'll re-unite with Wade Phillips and it's good to have a veteran option to replace DeMeco Ryans as a starting ILB. Hopefully Daryl Sharpton can stay healthy and continue to develop. He may even be the starter this year like you mentioned but at least you have a productive veteran to push him for the job.

I dont mind the signing, might even be a good one, just wish we wouldve waited until after the draft. always had 100 tackles with wade phillip as his coach so it might not be a bad signing.

Vince Young was on a local sports-radio show yesterday saying that his agent is talking to three teams and the Houston Texans are his number one option. He plans to sign after the NFL draft. Considering we just lost Matt Leinart and Schaub isn't even signed past this year, it would be wise to sign another quarterback just to compete with Yates.

Unless the Texans are planning to draft another quarterback in the later rounds. I wouldn't mind snagging a guy like Case Keenum, who can likely flourish playing for a head coach like Gary Kubiak. We need another quarterback somewhere. I'm not even confident Schaub will stay healthy all year long in 2012.

I'd love if we can get Young for cheap for two-three years, but Im not even sure if we can afford that or not.

I don't think he would be against a hometown discount on a one or two-year deal. At this point, I think he really wants to come home and revive his NFL career. How much money can his agent really expect to land? Even heard some talk on the John and Sean show on 1560 AM "The Game" that he may have to settle for the veteran minimum but they were probably just being dramatic to stir up the callers like myself.
