dude can't catch a ball to save his life, if i remember correctly he was targeted 9 times and only could grab 2 out of those 9 for catches the last preseason game.. right move to release him he's made the least contributions out of the trio of rookie receivers (dobson & thompkins) they may keep him on the practice squad tho

he should be #2 on the depth chart considering we have like no tight ends able to play besides Gronk, im excited to see another aaron hernandez type TE (not calling Wright a murderer but i've hear they'll use him similar to how they used Hernandez)
