People make it sound like this is a successful season if we make it to the Divisional round. It's Super Bowl or bust. You have to play good teams along the way regardless of where and what round. Besides, the Redskins really have been nothing to scoff at lately. Cousins over the last 7 games: 73.18% 2036 yards 16 TDs 2 INTs 122.1 rating. Not exactly the QB people were laughing at last year.
There really is no preferable team in the first round. Every team that has made it this far has done so by in their own way. Vikings, Seahawks and Skins are all pretty scary in their own right, but have also shit the bed several games. Packers are just as bipolar as those squads. Should be fairly evenly matched.
As for the divisional round... holy fuck. Panthers and Cards are straight up terrifying
