Going to be the best part tbf

“It wasn’t just the Packers who didn’t think I could play anymore,” Woodson said. “It was a lot of people. As I mentioned to reporters (in Green Bay), I didn’t have a lot of people knocking my door down. It’s good to prove it to everybody that I can still play.”

Rip Cobb.

Well, it's kind of true. As much as I liked having him here, he would have ended up being a backup before the new contract was done. He just doesn't have the speed left to succeed in Capers' system.

Succeed and Capers' system should never be in the same sentence...

Still though, there's gotta be regret especially seeing what he's doing in Oakland.

No regret at all. His athleticism gets him by for them. It wouldn't be enough here because Capers plays the safeties closer to the line than most DCs and asks them to cover a lot of ground. He'd still make some plays, but he would get burned way more often.

Never saw it like that, thanks for the insight. I love watching, just not good at understanding schemes and things like that.

It's the kind of thing that you don't really learn unless you read up on his system since you never really see the safeties on normal game film and for whatever reason that aspect of the defense isn't discussed much.

Samuel L. Shields didn't travel to Oakland... Probably just didn't want to outshine chuck god too much on Sunday. It makes sense

Booooooooooo! Little rook-on-rook action with Demarious on Amari I guess. And Casey getting torched by Crabtree. Good stuff.
