we played too much man against a team that was just better than us on that side of the ball. Twice our safety bit hard on the other side of the field and then we got beat in man iirc. I have no fucking idea what happened on the 80 yard rush. Two of the huge rushes from Hunt were horrible holds that went uncalled.
We've been horrible about letting teams put up MONSTER plays against us for a few years now. It's our MO to play just insane red-zone D on one drive or a few drives in a row, and then we'll watch the other team burn us for 170 yards and 14 points in 4 plays of total offense on the next two drives.
I was hoping that was a patricia thing. I mean we seemed more aggressive at the beginning of the season against other teams, but i think you nailed it. Lot of man and safeties biting from the looks of it, at least against the chiefs. i don’t only think the chiefs O is superior to the pats D is a reason why, but they’re also just so much fucking faster than we are. Hightower literally looks like he’s running 70%, but i mean he has been playing good besides that
