someone should tell those clowns to put themselves in Brady's shoes, why would he cave in/give up if he knows he's innocent that doesn't make any fucking sense.

They just mean like, in the grand scheme of things, how much does this matter with what's happening around the country. And I see where they're coming from, but how does that have anything to do with the CBA/Employer-Employee relations case? Idk, seems like a stretch to me.

It was Jamie Dukes who said he'd be "self-serving", Chris Canty agreed and said he should "take the suspension on the chin", and Elliott Harrison said he would "take a step back".

Lol... f@cking idiots. Deflategate has going on 500+ days, long before things like san bernadino, orlando, and now dallas happened. Give me a break. Somehow it's brady's problem that this shit happened during the legal process? I don't think so...

so... I've been hearing people bring up (like Mike Florio kind of eluded to it) that Brady being "friends" or "supporting" trump will hurt his chances of getting a Stay (if he even does ask for one) with Ruth Bader Ginsberg. lol (RBG hates trump apparently)

It's pretty insensible for the Supreme Court to waste their time with BS like this. I don't think she's petty enough to deny someone solely based on who they support for the Presidential nod. Just sounds like people are trying to make excuses in advance to the denial. No reason to try and justify it, it's a stupid fucking matter, it should have been resolved a year ago when Brady won his appeal. Fuck it though, time to take the 4 games and move on, I'm so tired of hearing about this shit.

don't get me wrong, I agree (with bolded) 100%.

but I questioned myself when someone like Mike Florio brought it up... and he wasn't the first person I heard mention it

also it's extremely uncommon for a supreme court judge to call someone out aka address the AP like she (RBG) did

Like i've said before, it;s not the end of the world for the team if Brady misses 4 games, especially with all the top tier pass rushers he's going up within the first 4 weeks lol. It's the draft picks that's going to hurt more down the road for the organization. Also I feel sorry for Brady that this will permanently harm his career (missing games/stats/potential to break more career records/etc), just a shitty situation for him...

Brady will go down in the history books regardless of what he does, he could end his career with a 0 TD/ 40 INT season and he'd still be a first ballot HOFer lol. Yes, she's made it clear that she finds the man vile and it is incredibly abnormal for a sitting Justice to get involved with shit like that. Being weak enough to show prejudice against one of his supporters makes her just as bad as him, and I just don't personally believe she's that weak.

It's possible he may not ask for a stay either, but i think he will. Not sure. It is kinda silly to think brady's "friendship" with trump would have any outcome on an RBG decision but nothing would surprise me in this whole mess; also it's unlikely a stay will be granted regardless of which supreme court judge would be ruling. That's what i've heard.

No doubt he's a HoFer regardless.
