I like Dimke - would be happy with him starting

Warren Moon is a bit of a douche. Nice guy, but claiming that Freeman is a partyer, a socialiser, not a football dedicated guy - what the fuck!

Has anyone heard of Freeman partying like Gronk? No, neither have I

BSPN: Carl Nicks Could Miss A Month
August 19th, 2013

Blistergate has now sounded an alarm heard across the nation.

Carl Nicks’ newly infected foot blister, not his surgically repaired foot/toe, could keep the All-Pro guard out a month, reports BSPN NFL guru Adam Schefter, via RotoWorld.com.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on NFL Insiders Monday that Bucs LG Carl Nicks (toe infection) “could miss about a month, based on what I’m being told.”
Nicks is dealing with an “infected blister” on the same toe that he injured midyear last season, costing Nicks the final nine games. The Bucs need to take their time in order to avoid future setbacks, so Nicks is looking highly doubtful for Week 1. If he misses a month from now, Nicks could still be back early in the season. Look for Ted Larsen to stand in at left guard.

Joe’s not sure Schefter is accurate, but certainly he has his share of excellent sources. If Nicks returned in a month, he would miss two games.
.
Nicks is one of four players the Bucs were counting on recovering from major surgery and being 100 percent for Week 1, including Adrian Clayborn, Davin Joseph and Darrelle Revis. That was a lofty and unrealistic goal, but if the Bucs can withstand losing one of these guys, it would be Nicks or Joseph.

this is seriously ridicuous i dont know what to think about it. I know he has a bad toe for fucks sake and now a blister that is infected and is going to keep him out a month. Than we got fucking Lawerence Tynes wit a damn ingrown toenail LOL.. Seriously don't know whats going on and I love Carl Nicks but damn bro suck that shit up practice 11 on 11 and see how it goes its a damn blister. I know when I played football during the beginning of the season I played with them and my shit was tore up because of the 2 a days, also played with achilles tendonitis and shin splints come on brah. I dunno what to think of it as its such a huge freaking investment for the Bucs and its seeming as if we may have 2 out of 3 guys we got in FA last year be busts depending on if Carl gets back to his regular play.

yeah but this is also Turf Toe which will not heal, essentially this looks like the beginning of the end for Nicks - I'm HOPING he has 2 full seasons left in him, but ultimately, it's something that he's gotta live with for the rest of his life and the more pressure he puts on it, the more damage that will be done.

I see what you are saying, there are certain things that can be played through, but lets not forget that Nicks played half a season with it last year and was playing through the pain from week 3 to week 8 when he had to throw in the towel.

I actually just read they are dealing with an outbreak of staph in the building lol... so funny bcause that was the nly thing i believed to be bad enough to keep them out of games and both nicks and tynes has it. The facility is goign through a sanitization phase at the moment and no one else seems to have caught it.

I didn't see the game today, just got updates on my phone at work, and I do not care that they won they played like complete shit. The only thing, based on reading about it, that they have to be proud of is that their red zone/goal line defense was very good (which I'm happy about). They couldn't pass the ball, run the ball, etc.

I'm hoping for their sake that the team just isn't running a lot of their plays in the preseason and that's why they are having no success because these games have me seriously worried about their QB situation.

Yea shit was bad and even though the redzone seemed good one of those fg's would of been a td if it werent for bad catching on dolphins part. Terrible game and hopefully we dont play like this and we get all the errors ironed out for the regular season... freeman didnt olay great but the wr's didnt help dropping multiple catches. There was also seemed to be some bad playcallng on both sides of the ball the freaking ridiculous d line stunts need to stop as they do nothing but cause confusion and slow the pass rush which seems to be non-existent as it is. Not sure if they dont want to but there was no press coverage throughout the game. Barron, spence, and banks made some decnet plays though which was a plus. Foster, leonard johnson, and teo lookeed bad for the most part schiano needs to see that bowers eventhough he may be out of condition is better than teo and sould start. Clayborne looked pretty good and they used him n both the right and left side but he seems to excel on the right accumilating more pressure and hurries.
