WR Andre Johnson restructured his contract in order to give the Texans more cap space, according to Jason LaCanfora of NFL Network. Johnson converted his $6.5 million base salary to a bonus and spread it out over a number of seasons.

I believe the cap space is going to be announced on Friday.

Looks Preliminary for a chance to go after Peyton/Wayne, or Get Mario Back.. I like it

Yes. Something good we'll get either way. The last update I heard is that Mario Williams is weighing all of his options. He's been working out every day at the Texans facility and playing XBOX 360 on-line. He's hoping the Texans can put together a strong enough offer to keep him.

Brett Hartmann is suspended for 4 games(3 now, one went against the playoffs) for illegal substance.

Now we need a new Kicker/Punter

That's why he has the nickname "The Hitman!" That guy is a punter that hits like a truck. Neil Rackers is the same way and it wouldn't surprise me if he were also taking an illegal substance. Three games is nothing though. These guys were jacking people up left and right on kickoffs and punts last year.

Pro bowl kick returner Marc Mariani got jacked up!!!! Marv Albert makes reference to the hitman.

2011: 4 tackles for Hartmann and 3 tackles for Rackers. All of which were big-time hits that made the highlight reel.

Damn shame YouTube removed the Hartmann hit. I wanted to post that one. Light 'em up you small guys!!!!

Are we still keeping Rackers? If so, that's a shame.

I think so. Haven't heard anything to suggest otherwise. I was hoping they would draft a young kicker with a strong leg in the 6th round. Neil Rackers doesn't have the distance anymore. Anything over 43 yards is a low-pecentage field goal attempt.

I heard Georgia has a good kicker.

I was hoping Quinn Sharp to be a senior, but I guess we're going to wait another year for a chance at him. Beast kicker, great at kickoffs as well.

What football movies (classics) are you watching during the NFL off-season?

I was watching Rudy earlier. This scene is always the best.
