nerds lmfao.

@papa terps: Nice gj on 3-0. Tbh i typically just draft 4 color good stuff and if i suck i suck.

i mainly play standard. playing esper atm cus i love me boi teferi

have been drafting alot recntly tho cus of the shocks. havent drafted one in like 3 weeks tho T_T

Lol I pass shocklands. That's a disappointment in limited imo.

I've heard lots of smaller game stores are having trouble getting enough people to hold constructed matches, especially standard. Like my LGS has to rotate between standard and modern every other week due to lack of players. And I know others are experiencing similar problems. Might be due to the success of Arena. WotC seems to be trying to make MtG an eSport.

pass shocks :O? i can't pass something that pays for my draft.

Yeah it's pretty bad. I don't think most areas can support more than a few LGSs, and it's hard to compete with the interwebs and amazon. Especially amazon since they can sell them for so much cheaper than a LGS can afford to.

In my town there's only 2 LGSs i believe, and one of them just opened. Not sure how they'll do cus there's a pretty decent sized LGS downtown that everyone goes to now that the other downtown went out.

Shocks are only worth like $5-10 bucks now (retail). I'd rather try and win for $18. I don't play constructed anyway, so shocks just sit in my collection.

I do.

A couple years ago I upgraded my front casters to a brand called "frog legs"

https://froglegsinc.com

They have a rubber bushing and a hinge joint that work together as a shock absorber. Allows me to go over gravel and lumpy terrain with greater ease. Easily the best upgrade I've ever made. Well worth the several hundred I paid for them.

Hell no.

The people who do those tricks probably have injuries in the low thoracic or lumbar spine. You need to have use of your abdomen for much of those tricks.

I'm a C7 quad, which is the base of the neck. My hands don't even work right. Zero chance I do any of that stuff with no abdominal muscles and weak hands.

It seems to be a common break actually. When people land on their head, that C7 seems to be the one to shatter. There were a couple dudes there in car accidents who landed on their heads and broke the same vertebrae.

It could be better, of course. I could be one vertebrae lower (T1) and have full use of my hands. Or it could be much worse: I could be a C6 and have almost no use of my hands and weaker triceps. There's always someone better or worse off, so be thankful for what you got is my perspective.
