Didn't Arian Foster break the all-time record for most rushing yards during a player's first two playoff games? 285 total rushing yards.
24 carries, 153 yards (6.4 per) and two Touchdowns versus the Bengals.
27 carries, 132 yards (4.9 per) and one Touchdown versus the Ravens.
He also had that one highlight-reel catch that he turned into a nice gain against the Ravens.
The guy was so sensational. Looking back, he was nothing less than amazing.
I think he can break a 2,000-yard rushing season in 2012 if he stays motivated and healthy.
You can notice the desire in Matt Schaub's tone of voice to get back on the field. All he said on the Texans Huddle show on Thursday Night was he believes this team can reach the Super Bowl next year. He's ready to participate in OTAs and training camp already. I'm excited with the entire team. It's a top 3 offense and a top 3 defense. Just need to improve on Special teams and add another explosive wide receiver who can stretch the field, make big plays in the slot and return punts.
I've had enough of Neil Rackers also but he'll be back next year. He just can't make anything over 45 yards with a lot of success. He even missed a costly 51-yard Field Goal against the Ravens, which gets lost in the shuffle with the four turnovers. If he hits that Field Goal it's a 17-16 score at the time. Not that it mattered since the final was 20-13 but to have been down one point would have put more pressure on the Ravens.
It's just amazing to think the Texans were the third best team in the AFC in 2011. Now it's time to take the next step in 2012.
