Foles is an inaccurate statue. Thats a shitty combo. I legitimately thing id take my chances with any random backup or practice squad qb in the league over foles now. We know what foles is, but you might get lucky with someone else.

Years ago foles pulled off a miracle, but he isnt close to that guy anymore who helped the eagles win a SB. With zero hesitation id take fitz or Keenum over him in a pinch.

id prob go

fitz
foles
keenum

in a playoff scenario

i dont think fitzmagic has ever played in the playoffs but he is balling right now as hes finally reached 200 iq and can pick apart any defense even while being dragged down by his face mask
i know it sounds stupid to say, but foles has proven to be clutch in games that really matter. the bears just have shitty skills players and bad offensive play calling.
keenum more mobile than foles but ill just go with track record for this one

Track record from a few years ago means less to me. It depends on the team in front of him, but foles needs an elite offensive line and run game. Hes so slow and unaware in the pocket. He was good in philly for that one regular season and the super bowl run, but underwhelming at best at any other point. He was AWFUL for the rams and lost starting jobs convincingly to minshew and trubisky. That says enough about where he's at currently.

You need qb mobility in today's game. Foles has none and keenum and fitz do.

Foles was decent 3 times, all 3 with the eagles. Fits has had a couple of nice seasons and quite a few tragic ones. His most recent being 2016 with the jets, that was a total shit show. recency bias is making you think Foles is worse than he is.

Him, magic, and Keenum are clearly the top tier of journeyman QBs in the nfl currently. Especially now that Mccown is done playing

Foles was decent 2 times and that's only because of his coaches. Hes been trash otherwise and even wanted to retire twice because of it.

His best year was in 2013, which was Chip Kelly's first year of his HC stint with the Eagles. It was a brand new Offensive scheme that he brought from college. That scheme worked for one season and the league adjusted/figured it out after that.

His 2nd fluke run with the Eagles was mainly because of Frank Reich. They won that SB mostly because of him. Those QBs and the Offense in general took a massive step back once he left.

he was big in 2018 for philly too, he had a monster game against houston to help them secure a playoff spot and he won a playoff game as well and played decently against new orleans. i wouldnt close the book on him just yet

He had one good game against Houston that year. He was shit in the rest and extra shit in those 2 playoff games, especially the Saints game bro. He's terrible.

My anus is bleeding from this massive shit I’m taking.

Sums up this thread nicely and it’s funny because it’s actually happening too

You do not need QB mobility in today's game. Manning came back and broke records. It does add another dimension but Brady and Rivers are doing just fine. Brees the list goes on. Big Ben
