Now i was one of the more insensitive and joking ones when this was brought up in GC, and argue against the politically correct cliche of respecting people simply because they are dead

It's more that she said she showed her boobs once when in reality she did much more than that. She played it up for her to be this innocent little girl when she did much more than flash her boobs once.

Noone (reasonable) has once said she's innocent.
She did some promiscuous things granted but she's a kid for crying out loud. She could have learned but she was backed into a corner and saw only one way out

What happened to forgiveness and compassion? Why the hate?

There's always another way out. She could have admitted her mistake and sought help. I would have had all the respect and compassion in the world for her had she done that. Then again, no one would probably know who she was if she did that because it wouldn't be blown up like it is now.

Just because there are other ways out doesn't mean they're always visible to the person in the hot seat. When you're being judged by everyone you talk to, it's awful hard to go to a random stranger and tell them your story knowing full well you're going to be judged yet again.

Yeah she probably should have but she had no one in her corner to even give her that advice. And it was the scumbag that made a Facebook with her nudes as the display that sent her over the edge.
