No, I think that is considered a Scam and I think you could actually get locked for that I have heard, haven't seen a situation like that before though so I can't say for sure.
And yes, if they only say "u/f" and post no variation of the word "Confirmed" then it is not a bet and it is the responsibility of the person who is sending u/f to make sure the other person confirms the bet correctly, that is what IrishLuck did wrong, he did not make sure Extort confirmed the bet correctly.

they wont get locked for stealing fg UF..a med already scammed/welched me a while back when i sent uf..nothing was done.
they just told me jsp dont support betting and closed my shit.

I think its a welch. Removing him from the guild because its plain shady.
He was clearly online after the fg was sent. He knew he received the 5k. Theres no reason not to send it back if he thought there was no bet.
Unless there is some explanation, I hope he is welcher tagged.
And everybody needs to at least give the list runner enough time that he can wait to hear from the other side. Calm the fuck down.

Thing is, in the original topic made by Irish, TJ posted that he had spoken with Extort and that Extort agreed to send back.
He never said anything about whether it was considered a bet or not.
Then, Irish made a welcher post with screens and stuff and the ONLY thing TJ posted was a link to the rules of betting.
If he just said that it was a bet / not a bet etc, it would've never gotten this big. Instead, after like hundreds of posts, he says he will remove the Active status of Extort.

That's why people are mad at him, me including. There shouldn't be more than one way interpreting these things and clearly in this case he wasn't sure.
He could've at least posted that it would be discussed with the meds/trusteds and that a decision would be made but he didn't. He just posted a link to his betting guide topic and left.

That said, it's obviously a welch.

When it comes to pms. Or anything when theres a question. There can always be a second side to the story. Maybe there were more pms sent that weren't shown. If the list runner hasn't made a decision on whether its a bet or not, then he wouldn't know whether to post if its a bet or not.

I'm not really bashing on him and I know that there's always a possibility that not every card is shown.
I just think that he should've said that at this time, no decision has been made on whether it was a welch or not.
you know like cops etc always go out and say "at this moment we haven't arrested anyone or tied anyone to said crime" while they're working several angles etc
