I do.
Who knows how much damage that red flag could do. If new players coming in are seeing that even if they go to 8 fucking SBs that they won't be appreciated, it doesn't give a lot of confidence in the organization. I've always wondered how the fuck NE got away with the shit they did, and now it looks like Brady is done drinking the koolaid, and he was the pillar keeping that cult mentality together. Brady+Gronk are probably done in NE after this year. Maybe BB stays on, and maybe he's able to transition the team into a new era without a complete collapse, but it's not looking great.
I generally agree with Schefty but I think it's overblown, but it's clear Brady is for once putting something else in his life (family, etc) above football and it's certainly not helping that he's absent. (I'm not necessarily sure Brady and Gronk are done after this year but I have no idea. I'd put it at about 50/50 for both of 'em.)
I believe this all could've been avoided with a super bowl win this past February lol. Oh well. I just hope we don't dip to the Seahawks' level of woes after their super bowl 49 loss. (Both SB 49 and SB 52 ended poorly for the losing teams because of questionable personnel decisions).
