if what you said was true, then how come he wasn't able to secure a backup role?if martin goes down, this "explode any time he touches the ball" mentality you have for blount would probably be desirable to the bucs, would it not?
the coaches and staff know what they are doing, and you clearly are seeing things that aren't there. the people that saw him every day in practice would know better than you i'd wager. had all the bullshit you've been spitting at me the last few posts been true, the front office would have kept him around. ghat being said, the pats are famous for taking broken players and making them into stars once more. this is common knowledge. so if he really has anything left to offer, belicheat will find it.
i like your optimism, but i promise you that your thoughts are misguided.
/e you do realize he was traded for a guy who has never touched the ball in the NFL and a 7th round pick right?

Point 1 - Because we had changed from a power back running style - if we don't require his skillset, why bother using him?
Point 2 - I would find it desirable to have Blount behind Martin - thats a #1 back and a backup #1 back - thats a win situation right there and I think for the sake of CAP and Blount wanting a shot, we got rid. I didn't wanna get rid - but i'm not a coach just a fan.
Point 3 - You can wager all you like - i'm not suggesting I know more or better info than the coaches, but you can stop acting like you were in the locker room and know his "character concerns" because I tell you for a fact, there were no character issues with Blount in the Schiano order. Bitch moan as much as you like, you won't find a single backed up source to back up that shitty claim.
Point 4 - So if Blount becomes a beast in NE you are gonna be all "TOLD YOU SO".
Enjoy that high horse pal - it won't last.
