It's time for the Ford Family to open their wallets and pay $$ for a shut-down corner and a playmaking safety who wont get hurt by a thumbnail.

Wat. It's a salary cap issue... do u know how football works?

Also, as far as Stafford goes, he is not resolved of all guilt. As many passes as receivers have dropped, Stafford has also overthrown or underthrown. He is not on his game. He is not what he was last year. And I am not talking about fourth quarter issues when he is "trying to win the game." This is happening through all four quarters. Yeah, it sucks, but it is reality.

And wtf are you talking about when you say our defense is horrible? Our defense has been way more than we expected it to be this year. We dominated the ball defensively against Green Bay last week. That is hard to do. We have dominated on defense in MOST of our games this year. Our issue is with the offense, and more specifically Matthew Stafford.

I'm not sure you even watch the lions LGB.

the stafford this year is mediocre comepared to the one last year, he was on fire. Like you said to many over thrown, underthrown, and dropped passes to really do much. not having much of a running game hurts aswell but leshoure is a beast if they will just turn him loose

Tomorrow on the pregame show Jarome Harrison will announce his retirement from the nfl, I believe. My wife talked to his wife, and she said they are making an announcement about his recovery. However, they just bought a House in North Carolina, and he just started driving again like a month ago, so I'm guessing retirement, and freeing up a spot on our roster. Sorry his career ended this way, but hes set pretty well financially, so that's a bonus he was smart and invested his money.

Deal with it. Matthew Stafford is our guy for the next decade. He isn't going anywhere and it's not all his fault... and it's not like he threw for 5,000 + yards last year.

Matthew Stafford has tried to win games by himself this year and he isn't that type of QB. He doesn't have the scramble ability like a Rodgers does.

We don't need Titus Young, trade him. No need for his actions.

It's Brandon Pettigrew and Calvin Johnson failing to catch open balls; that has lead us to believe it's all Stafford's fault.

What is it? 35 drop passes? sick. I'm a fan of picking up another TE and cutting ties or moving Pettigrew down the depth charts.

Mikel Leshoure, keep your game going, it's not his fault our offensive line can't push anybody around.

Our defense is horrible. I knew we shouldn't of paid Cliff Avril. The guy hasn't done shit. Suh, Nick, Houston, Williams, Tulloch, and Sammie Lee Hill has been our only good defensive players this year.

We need to do something about Delmas. He's turning into a Bob Sanders.

I like Stafford, I'm happy hes ourqb going forward, that being said, hes been playing like shit, PERIOD. Take the fucking goggles off man. He is 50% of the problem this year, easily as far as offense goes.
I agree on Pettigrew, hes a butterfingers mofo, that needs to go.
Titus young is 3rd in yards and 1st in tds for our team this year, ya let's trade him off. Are you kidding me?
Our TE's are good players, stafford/offense play calling just under utilizes them. Heller is a big fucker with good hands, you rarely see him drop a ball, but he only gets 1 or 2 passes a game, same with scheffler.(well scheffler u see drop more i think)
Our defense has played better than they have in years, I don't know what the hell you're smoking, but I would like to try some. :)
They have stopped like 80% of redzone attempts for fgs instead of giving td's like we did in years past. You didnt even mention Fairley who has been playing lights out for us the past few weeks.
Special Teams has cost us 2 games for sure, maybe 3 if you look at the tape, all the muffs and shit by logan that we recovered, yet got no gain and pinned back due to it, then we go 3 and out giving the other team a short field every possesion. hard to win that way.

Edit: I'm out of the running for playoffs in our free nfl league, So I'll make you a trade for my Peyton Manning, Ray Rice, and Jimmy Graham if you need/want em.

Tbh, Lions have a good chance at winning this game. Texans D hasn't been good lately.

Last week proved 3 things

#1: Bench Pettigrew
#2: Who needs Titus Young?
#3: Suh is a fucking monster.
