Just noticed David Andrews went to Georgia too, loving the Wynn pick right now even more.

There were some injury concerns with him, as he reportedly has a “bone-on-bone” condition in his knee that could shorten his career “I love this kid,” former Patriots executive Mike Lombardi said on The Ringer podcast. “I think I’m concerned. There’s a lot of teams telling me there’s a medical concern here, so he could slip a little bit. I don’t know what it is, but the way the medical works at the combine is there’s a table with like six doctors from each team at one table and six different from another team at another table. His medical grade is a little iffy from what I’m told. But this kid, to me, is the prototypical NFL back. He can catch the ball, he can impact the passing game. Remember how we have to evaluate running backs– it’s block, catch, run. It isn’t run, catch, block. And this kid blocks well. This kid can be impactful. I love this kid as a player.”

-- Michel has been compared to New Orleans running back Alvin Kamara, but one thing to note is he has some ball security issues, as he had 12 fumbles (five lost) over his career.

player with an injury history taken by bill in the 1st color me surprised.

if he can be at least a poor man's Kamara though that'll be sweet though. He better be better than Laurence Maroney lol (last time we took a RB in the first).

Good thing you listen to WEEI so you know this stuff, would be weird if you were out of the loop

Maybe true. Danica isn't a great cover.

2x 2nd round picks to come (#'s 43 and 63 overall), should be interesting to see what we do.

(no 3rd or 4th round round picks though now with the trade mentioned above)

Not only an injury issue but a fumbling issue as well. That's a huge stretch for Bill.

Von Miller on 49ers’ Trent Brown: ‘He’s the best right tackle in the NFL

After the 49ers practiced against the Broncos in 2016, Denver’s Von Miller said Trent Brown was one of the “better tackles” in the NFL.

A year later, one of the league’s best pass-rushers has even stronger praise for the 49ers’ 6-foot-8, 355-pound right tackle.

“He’s the best right tackle in the National Football League,” Miller said Wednesday after the first of two joint practices with the 49ers. “And he may even be a top-five tackle, period, in the National Football League. There’s not another tackle who’s that tall, that big and can move the way he moves.”
