seeing some weird articles about hooker providing himself in preseason so lions can trade him for a 4th? That would make 0 sense to me. Lions knew when they drafted him he couldn't play right away, therefore he obviously wasn't a backup last year....Technically this is his first year of being able to back up Goff--so why waste a third round in 2023 to trade the player for a 4th(AFTER HE PROVES HIMSELF????). I'm pretty triggered by this article lol....

I get Hooker probably doesn't have huge trade value(otherwise teams would've taken him before the 3rd)--but I would expect a fully healed guy who went in the third with an injury would be worth at the very least a 3rd round pick +++???
