Better is subjective, but I think being interested in self-gain as opposed to buying into the xenophobic fear-based rhetoric is objectively better. The majority of people are selfish and entitled pricks, and while I personally go a different way, I'm not going to spend time disliking someone because they go with the flow of the majority of humanity. I don't think either of them are great humans, but I think they're great at entertaining me, which is what their job is, and what I care about. Based on their past and present actions, if either were running for a position in the government, I would be adamantly against their appointment, but that's not something I'll ever have to worry about.
