Still looks like we might land Jordy... I just can't see why NE would pay for a #1 receiver when we've already got 2 and the #1 TE in the league. That being said, Brady having an MVP season with that roster and no defense would be a lock, but then we're bound to lose in the SB again lol.

Tell me how brady wins anything when he can't stand in the pocket cause your offensive line is shit

Seems to have been a huge problem the last 7 years.

e: Don't think I'm not saying this isn't an area of concern or anything, but you're stupid if you don't think brady could get the job done with Jordy added to that roster and our current oline.

This is a big, big loss for the Patriots. Over the last 17 years, left tackle has been the second most stable spot on the roster, behind QB. Was Matt Light for 11 years, and Nate Solder for the last 6.

Never said it wasn't a huge loss, but one player isn't going to make a team who's been to the SB 3 times in the last four years and to the AFCCG seven times in the last seven years into a bad team, that's not how it works lol. Problem is that Brady could get hurt, and without even a decent backup behind him on our roster, we'd probably be pushing a .500 season at best, but you can't know a player is going to get hurt. There's still time for us to fill the hole, or improve elsewhere on the line, but it is undoubtedly a big loss and it dramatically decreases our chances of making a legitimate run at the SB this year if we're unable to find a replacement.

It's not lol, but he wanted a lot of money. BB always thinking about the future and knows a rebuild is coming sooner than later. I've said it many times, NE is headed for dark times and we're going to be a piss poor team for some time after the Brady/BB era ends.

It probably won't happen man. I'm guessing he'll be looking for at least one last decent paycheck, and it won't come from cheap ass NE. A 1 yr/10-13 or something could be possible though I guess with a second year 20 option. We'll see. That's understandable though, and I should have taken that into consideration, my bad homie.
