Browns receiver Mohamed Massaquoi signed with the Jaguars in free agency, but not before he also got a contract offer from the Texans.
“That’s another quality place,” Massaquoi said about Houston. “It’s no surprise as to why they’re winning, why they’re contenders year in and year out because that place is filled with good people.”
Massaquoi wasn’t especially productive in Cleveland, but neither was the Browns offense as a whole. They ranked last in passing offense in 2009, Massaquoi’s rookie year, haven’t cracked the top half of the league in that category since.
LOL, we fail to sign a so-so wideout in free agency? But we can land two future Hall of Famers and a solid lead-blocking fullback? He talks up the Texans but signs with the Jaguars because they offered him more money.
