Ironically, despite the London trip and only 7 home games, the Falcons have a favorable travel schedule. A few observations:

-Most striking: The Falcons cross the Atlantic, but they don't cross the Mississippi. THAT has got to be a first. And they play on the banks of the Mississippi twice.

-The Cardinals travel to Atlanta after playing on the road in Seattle. That's brutal travel.

-Monday Night, in Green Bay, in December. Yuck.

-Bizarre October 12 - November 23 stretch without playing in the Georgia Dome.

-The London trip is tough, but at least it comes with the benefit of a very late bye week. The Jet lag will be long gone and the team should be well rested for the division games against the Bucs and Panthers.

-NO games against teams coming off a bye week.

Seriously considering traveling to Atlanta for the opener if i'm not offshore. Talking shit with Atlanta fans during the opener last year was the most fun I've had at a game in a while.
