Because one more season with him would only help Carr lol. You guys should be helping out Carr and not taking away from the options hes already got.

I'm not saying Jones is the man or anything like that, but a veteran who clearly already has chemistry with your young QB can only help him.

Weren't you guys saying he was by far your guy's best WR a month or so ago? I know Cooper instantly projects into that role considering where you drafted him and I know you guys got the TE. You guys really can't think cutting Jones makes your Offense better and saving 3.5mil is nothing when you guys have one of the highest caps left to spend in the league.

Yea but the other guys who would of given him a run for #1 were hurt last year. Streater isn't bad and butler is actually a hopefully prospect. Saying he was our #1 isn't saying much

But you guys are taking away somebody who already has chemistry with Carr and success in the NFL. Instead of developing into year 2, you guys are basically starting over on Offense without any chemistry advantage as far as weapons go.

Streater has flashed a time or two and had a solid year 2 years ago, but hes barely played with Carr last year. Butler is a fringe training camp WR.

This is basically how I feel about the situation.
