They'll make out like bandits if they get a 1st or second unless he's getting traded to ZBS like Shanahan's.

So we got pounded on in all areas tonight, but what we can take from this game. Gabbert still looks very much improved. He was standing tall in the pocket, keeping his eyes down field and not getting those happy feet like he would have last year after seeing a good amount of pressure. That was the big test and he continued to pass it.

Blackmon is easily already our best WR and it's not even close. Somebody else is going to need to step it up.

His college game seems to be translating over to the Pros very quickly, which is great. He has definitely came right out and impressed very early. Its good to see that Gabbert has a lot of trust in him and he is clearly his go to receiver, as he should be. Teams are just going to start doubling and tripling him if needed, so somebody has gotta step up on the other side and make some plays.

The Jacksonville Jaguars waived eight players this morning, reducing the team’s roster to 82.  NFL teams must reduce their rosters to 75 players by 4 p.m. on Monday, August 27.  Final cuts to the 53-player limit will be on Friday, August 31.

Waived today were seventh-year cornerback Ashton Youboty, two second-year players in wide receiver Chastin West and quarterback Nathan Enderle, three first-year players in linebacker Nate Bussey, running back DuJuan Harris and cornerback Mike Holmes, and two rookies in offensive tackle Dan Hoch and linebacker Donovan Richard.
