Ted will let all the high profile guys get their massive FA contracts, then take a look at the low profile guys who actually want to win championships. Like Peppers last year. I have a feeling Ted has another surprise or 2 up his sleeves.

Even coming off a bad season (keep in mind the entire Bears defense was AWFUL that year), he still warranted much attention and was sought after almost as much as his fellow lineman Jared Allen

He was sought after but the media coverage wasn't there. It was a surprise to hear that we were talking to him, much less that we signed him.
I love how Bradford and Foles are tradeworthy but the Bears can't even shop Cutler because of that stupid contract they gave him
