Yeah defense was absolutely trash. Belichick and Patricia have some answering to do.

Need more play makers in the front 7... i mean when your best pass rushers are Tre flowers and 39 year old James harrison you have some issues.

Brady threw for 500 yards. We played a hell of a game, but we made too many stupid mistakes, and the defense obviously was absolutely terrible. No one to blame for the loss but ourselves, but I was a bit irked that the first questionable TD stood, seemed pretty clear as an incomplete (by definition of the rule), but at least no one can say we got handed points lol. Second one (Ertz TD), was a TD without a fucking doubt, no idea how the commentators were all saying it should be overturned... those fuckers were high.

E: Back to drinking. Much love to all my NE brothers suffering with me tonight. At least we got here. Rather lose here than not be in it at all, and NE delivered an insanely entertaining game again.

I actually thought that 2nd TD was incomplete initially because i was so caught up in watching the football at the goal line in sloe mo and ignored the fact that he took at least 3 or 4 solid steps after the catch, definitely a runner at that point it was a good call. First one was questionable like you said but i knew they werent going to overturn it.
