Richardson would actually make a lot of sense for you guys. Goff has two years left on his contract. I think it'd be best for Richardson if he sat for a year and learned the Pro game from the sidelines. The two could then compete for the starting job in 2024, or you could out right cut Goff and save around $25m. He only carries a $5m dead cap hit in 2024 if released.

Only issue I have with this is lions have the best shot they’ve had at a Super Bowl in my lifetime(top 10 last time in checked). It feels like they need to make some win now moves in the draft

I could definitely see the Lions drafting Richardson if he falls to 6. I don't think he will. Rumor is Stroud is falling and I think three QBs go in the top 5. Levis prolly going to the Colts after Young to the Panthers.
