Think we all knew it was coming. Not that this year was all that great or anything, but no one really stood out as like WOW or anything. Pretty cool at 40 this mother fucker still wins a league MVP title though, it's pretty fucking absurd.

He should of had it last year

Ryan's stats were better than Brady's last year. I want Brady to win MVP every year, but he should only win it if he deserves it. How would it be fair for Brady to win with his season vs Ryan's?

Brady - 3554 (296/game)/28(2.33/game) TD/2 (.166/game - this is impressive) INT/ 67.4% Comp/ 112.2 Rating
Ryan - 4944 (309/game)/38(2.375/game) TD/7 (.4375/game) INT/ 69.9% Comp/ 117.1 Rating

Ryan was better man... even if you take into account that Brady missed 4 games, Ryan on average was more productive than Brady. Sure, if Brady would have been there for all 16, it's possible with his record/accomplishment etc... and insane turnover ratio that he could have won it, but with Brady being behind even in by game, and way behind in totals, you gotta go Ryan bro.

Ryan still had more yards, TDs, and a better completion %. Brady *could* have got it, but it would have been pretty fucking tough with how good Ryan was that year.

i think you are misinterpreting kid0lo's original statement. i took it to mean that he thinks Brady should have gotten it because he should have played 16 games.

I was just saying that even if he had meant that, if you take an average of Brady's yards/TDs per game and add them for another 4 games, he's still under Ryan. He'd have less yards, TDs, lower completion % and a lower rate. TD/INT ratio is fat, but that alone wouldn't win you MVP. That's all I was saying.

ah well in that case .... I'm not necessarily disagreeing with your conclusion. I would like to add that, along with the stats you quoted, you'd also have to throw in that Brady's team had more wins. That does carry a lot of weight with the voters.

Brady won 92% of his games that season while Ryan won 69%. That comes out to 3 or 4 more wins (a fraction closer to 4)
