I'm just hoping Foles has a bad day and ends up giving away some costly turnovers early. They start playing overly aggressive trying to play catchup after going down 17 to 0 to start, and then it snowballs. NE wins by 20, but 7-10 points of Philly scored in garbage time.

At least that's what I'm hoping. I just don't know how they can be showing zero fucking respect towards NE. I want to wipe the floor with these assholes.

Officially as of yesterday.

yeah, he was officially cleared yesterday afternoon.

That makes me pretty nervous. Almost 2 full weeks to recover. He might take a cheap shot early and be done

Looked up a stat for fun. In Brady's 7 SBs, the final lead change occurred how many minutes before the end of the game:

0:00, 2:02, 0:57, 0:35, 13:44, 0:04, 0:00

On average, the final lead change came with just over 2 minutes left in the game. Damn that one Eagles blowout for ruining the average though.

He's seemed good for at least a couple of days. I've gotten plenty of gnarly concussions and none of the effects have lasted longer than 48 hours. Can't imagine a professional athlete with the access he has to medicine and trainers and drugs wouldn't be 100% after 2 weeks.

Sure, it's possible he could take a gnarly hit and go out, but it'd have nothing to do with the injury from the game vs Jacksonville.

 that's not how brains work. Concussions are proven to be easier to happen the more they happen. And his lights got shut out. His brain was seriously rattled. If it happens again it is for sure because of the Jacksonville hit

If you get smashed in the dome, you're going to get a concussion... It's not going to be a deciding factor if he had one two weeks before or not. A bad hit to the head will give you a concussion regardless, that is how the brain works...

It will take a much lesser hit to do it again.

That's not a fact lol.... For some it works that way, for others it doesn't. Some people are also just more prone to concussions than others due to their genetic makeup. It was a gnarly fucking hit. If anyone takes a hit like that, they're going to have a concussion. If he gets hit like that again, he'll get a concussion. If he gets tapped in the head, he's going to be fine, as he's never been someone who gets concussions super easily.

Edit : Had to look it up, but I knew it was a ridiculously low number, and the guy has had 2 concussions his entire career lol.

He's also NEVER missed a game due to a concussion. He's not prone to them, that's just how some people are built.

 hmmm. I guess all these research papers saying that a bruised brain is easier to concuss are wrong....
