If Wade Phillips had gotten the job done as a head coach he'd still be coaching the Dallas Cowboys right now. He's no different than a guy like Dom Capers. Stick to what you do great and remain a defensive coordinator. It would be a huge mistake, for both Tampa Bay and Wade Phillips, if they decide they're a match.

I'll be upset if he leaves because he didn't even get to coach a full season with Mario Williams anchoring the defense. Before he got hurt, Williams already had five sacks early in the season. He has some great talent to work with on defense for many years to come. I'm not too concerned though, because I think Tampa Bay will go with somebody younger.

true..

by any means he wasn't coaching material back when he was with the Bills...(johnson for flutie oh god)everytime he returned as a D-Coord he was that great(With the Chargers,Texans...)

It'd be a blow to the Texans, I can see em next year being that great of a contender to the SB with an healthy team...I don't see the Buccs winning at all for the next two years, they're a very young team with lots of potential but...it's all coming down to fix em up.

Philips is 60+ ish?

I think it'd be better if he stayed at what he's great at: D-coordinator. He's simply not cutting it at being an HC

Yeah, he'll be 65 years old by the time the 2012 NFL season starts. He also missed two games this season after having gull bladder surgery. He even joked around to reporters, "The worst thing that can happen with this surgery is that I'll die but I'll be around somehow to coach in the playoffs." I like his sense of humor and what he's done with the Texans defense this year. The best is yet to come if he stays.

Is it only Tuesday? Seems like the past few days have taken forever to go by. LOL, waiting for Sunday's game is hard to do. All I see on TV are the so-called, know-it-all experts picking the Ravens to win at home. And maybe they will win since they're 7.5-point favorites, but I know the Texans are going to give it everything they have. Nobody expected the Texans to make it as far as they did with all the injuries to their best players.

Houston has the game-changing playmakers on both sides of the ball to get the job done. Playing in a hostile environment makes it more difficult but that's the price they paid by losing the last three regular-season games. I'm excited for the game to start. Just to be in this position and playing on the big stage is a lot of fun.

the running game will be the deciding factor
and sadly it seems like the ravens will have the better running game

foster will have to deal with lewis
sure you can say rice will have to deal with cushing, but lets be honest
lewis is much scarier than cushing

not to mention rice is a much smaller guy

playing @balt and having a 3rd string qb doesnt help much either

its gonna be a really hard fight, but i think we can do it

jjoseph has to give it his all this time
he cant play like he did the last time we played them

daniels is ok and able to play sunday

Lewis havent been the same since his injury. Ryans has been much better since the last Ravens game and is a lot faster now.

At least Houston has the two best players on the field in this game: Andre Johnson and Arian Foster. They have to come up big just like they did against the Bengals. I remember the last game at Baltimore when Jacoby Jones made a big Touchdown catch to give the Texans a 14-13 lead during the 3rd quarter.

There were some big plays to be made downfield and that was without Andre Johnson and Arian Foster being shut down. As great as the Ravens defense is the Texans have the offensive playmakers to score on anybody. The problem is T.J. Yates isn't exactly Matt Schaub, aka the real Matty Ice. Anything can happen when you're talking about one game. So I feel pretty good about the Texans chances going into the game on Sunday.

Baltimore has an undefeated home record this season but Houston did have a third quarter lead against them on the road without Andre Johnson. It wasn't like they didn't have a chance. The only difference this time is all mental. The Texans just need to go in there and play their game. They've got the defense and offensive playmakers to get it done.
