Saw that today Bell is back peddling hard from his comments. He's now saying that he's trying to win a Superbowl and the next year is irrelevant to his current goals. Either somebody chewed him out where he matured a bit overnight. I'm going to go with somebody chewed him out

Either way, at least he's trying to shift the focus back to playoff which is good

He said those comments the same day as the previous ones lol. He back pedal'd hours later and said that next season isn't the focus etc etc. Somebody definitely got into his ear and chewed his shit out.

Wind is the biggest factor and it doesn't look like that'll be an issue.

It's definitely going to be a hard hitting, physical game though.

Im stoked also. I expect a completely different game from week 5.
More grinding style football. I expect Big ben to be more cautious and throw in the middle of the field

Jags have been playing ok in cold weather this year. Wind seems to mess Bortles all up

Colin Cowherd had an interesting segment today where he basically echo in my thoughts about discipline. Teams like Alabama and New England are consistently good year after year because they have system first disciplined approaches to coaching and the team. Teams like Pittsburgh currently Seattle, and other teams where the players are loose with their words and do not put the team first never sustain championship success for long periods of time. He also talked about how the Giants likely hiring Matt Patricia as head coach is due to him being a disciplinarian style of coach. This would help real in guys like Eli Apple Landon Collins and obj
I think he hit the nail right on the head with this piece

Eli apple comes off as unfixable. GL patricia.

Such a disappointing end to such a good year.

The one good takeaway from this game is how amazing Ben and Brown are. Both absolutely shredded a really really good defense. Every time I thought it was over they'd battle back and Ben would pull off an unbelievable throw for a TD.

Such a shame that two special players are getting their primes wasted due to shitty coaching and poor game planning. I know this is a hypothetical but I definitely think if Cowher would have stayed that he definitely would have done more with this stud filled offense than Tomlin and Haley have.

Thank God Ben is coming back. He is a rare instance of a QB who just continues to get better with age. I think those rape accusations helped save his career. Getting called out for being a bad teammate and not caring totally changed his mindset and he started putting in the work. Hopefully he gets a shot at another title.

Yes, the Jags totally thumped us..but our coaching decisions today were terrible.

The 2x 4th and 1s...awful...(2nd one could've been a Ben audible to the slant).
Various other times throughout the game...questionable
The decision by Tomlin to go for the onside kick with 2:18....terrible.

If it weren't for Ben's wizardry on the 2x 4th down long balls, this game would've looked so much uglier.

We had no business even having a chance to win that game.

I know people are going to jump to Haley's defense and say that 4 of our 6 best offensive outputs have been under Haley. They have also been with our most talented group of players, during a time where offense is king and the DEF isn't allowed to make tackles. Any decent coordinator should've put up career numbers with the offenses we've had the past few years.

If someone would have told me Ben would throw 5 TDs and the Steelers would still lose I'd laugh in their face. They need some run stuffers. We aren't lucky enough for Tomlin and Haley to get the boot due to the team being so good that they make the playoffs regardless of how poor their coaches are.

That toss was one of the dumbest play calls I've ever seen in my life.
