Actually when you compare the stats for where dez is now and where TO was at at that point in his career they are neck and neck. TO has around 200 or so more receiving yards but they're tied for TD's and Receptions.

Always seemed like a supremely overrated TE in this league. Good pass-catcher, useless blocker, not particularly tough.

He is now 4th in average salary per year and 10th in average guaranteed $ per year. Seems like overpay. I would consider him equal to Coby Fleener.

Please don't try to compare passing/receiving numbers of the modern era of football with more than a decade ago. It just makes you look ignorant of offenses.
