I tutored SAs at GT when I was there. Chatted it up a bit with Morgan Burnett and helped Johnathon Dwyer with his English Paper. I have to say some of them (not all) are very ill equipped to handle even the easy classes in college. My most extensive sessions were with Derrick Favors, Kammeon Holsey, and Mfon Udofia. They were good guys but they had trouble even with trig / precalc often times though they weren't stupid, they just came from shitty schools and got swept under the rug into college. Regardless, its tough for them as they had to wake up at 6am, team breakfast, workout, go to class, 2nd workout, then studyhall. Some of the athletes can manage it well but its honestly asking alot for 18-22 year olds.

eh, i sat behind luke schencher in an EAS lecture my freshman year (i think he was a senior) and mostly i'd just see him playing roller coaster tycoon with his tutors the whole time
