I don't necessarily like Dysert, its more of a process of elimination for me, I'll try to keep it short;

Bruce Arians wants to take his shots downfield.  That immediately takes Matt Barkley out of it as he doesn't have the arm.  Hurts Ryan Nassib because his deep ball is terrible.  Hurts Landry Jones because he's captain checkdown.  Hurts Mike Glennon because he's not athletic enough to make people miss.

Bruce Arians QB's take a ton of hits, whether it was Luck this year or Big Ben in years prior.  This hurts Tyler Wilson's case because of his concussion this year.  I do believe if Wilson doesn't get concussed he's the #1 pick in this draft.  I wouldn't be opposed to him, just don't see him dropping to the 2nd and that concussion is a huge injury risk.  Injury risk is why Kolb's got to go.

There's some intrigue to Tyler Bray but his character concerns cross him off.  EJ Manuel fits these criteria but his tape is pretty bad.

I look at Andrew Luck this year, he made a ton of mistakes and missed a ton of receivers.  But he was athletic enough to make plays or keep plays alive, he kept his eyes downfield, he attacked downfield, he got back up every time he went down, and never got phased.  Zac Dysert isn't as talented as Andrew Luck, but he can do those things too.

I think we're just confusing what each other is saying because I agree completely with everything you're saying. But, you're saying what the Cardinals will most likely do/what they have said they want, etc. I'm saying what I want us to do with the game plan I'd like us to implement.

But, you're right. If it's what Arians has said he wants, I'd probably go Bray. We have enough leadership to whip his ass into shape, I mean, when Larry Fitzgerald or Darnell Dockett tell you to shape the fuck up, you shape the fuck up haha.

Mel Kiper Jr.: Margus Hunt, Defensive End, SMU

Rob Rang: Dion Jordan, Defensive End/Linebacker, Oregon

Matt Miller: Sam Montgomery, Defensive End, LSU

Walter Football: Kawann Short, Defensive Tackle, Purdue

Drafttek: Sam Montgomery, Defensive End, LSU

Expert picks... for atlantas draft. Pass rusher is Def a need it seems in most people's minds.

I agree they should go DL in the first but in my mock Jordan and Montgomery were gone, I like Hunt more for a 3-4 rather than a 4-3 and Short I think the first round is too high for him so I gave them the best OL piece available. Like I said earlier in the thread, the Falcons got players of need in every round that all have value for the respective rounds they were taken in.

The Cowboys have openly said multiple times they want to add to their DLine. That said, if they get a DT, they can move Ratliff to DE where he belongs or if they get a DE they can leave him or they can get both and have depth too lol.

Yeah, everything I type regarding football is pretty much more my perceived feelings of team(s) in the league and what they're thinking. Its not what I want because we already butchered that by running Horton out of town.

Where was our leadership last year when players were quitting on our QBs? I disagree that we've got the locker room to get Bray's head on straight. Maybe Arians can, but remember he was there when the Colts passed on Leaf for Manning(QB coach too).

If we had time to develop a QB(2 years), I'd be alot more willing to take on Glennon or Bray, but we don't. From the MAC to the NFL is a significant step in competition, but I feel Dysert's more game ready than Glennon or Bray. Any rookie should have to earn the starting job though, I'm interested in what Arians does there outside of the draft because I don't see a QB of the 4 on our roster who SHOULD be our #1 or 2 next year.

Quitting on a talentless qb isn't the same as taking a talented one with an attitude problem and straightening him out.

Regardless of what happens, I've loved everything I've heard from Arians to this point and I have faith in the man.

I feel like you HAVE to have Brandon Williams in this.. Will probably go 3rd round, even if he drops, would still be WAY gone by the end of the 4th
