matt schaub playing like he hasnt practiced since the last game
matt leinart made some good plays, didnt do anything in the 3rd, needs to stop staring down receivers. i want to see how well he can throw besides just 5 yards passes and whatnot.
tj yates meh, he had terrible protection, but made some okay plays. only one good/great throw, but w/e.

chris o i think he can be a good 3rd string or backup, but i want to see what he can do w/ the starting oline

i like james casey as fb, as long as we put him in motions and stuff. he isnt afraid to block, but he isnt as good as a blocker as vickers.
lawrence vickers, decent blocker, hes no vonta leach, but he'll put up a good block. good receiving fb too.

lestar jean is the only guy who looked good at wr today, but then again i think most of the throws to the were bad throws.

anthony hill needs to be cut, he's worthless.
i think we should go w/ OD, joel dreessen, james casey, garrett graham, and vickers. just do away w/ hill.

molden still sucks, only looked good in some plays b/c he played against a shitty qb.

our backups played better of course, but they went against a shitty qb. i dont think mario to olb will be a good idea. connor barwin, idk. i think jj watt will be a beast.
braman looked like a beast today, adibi too, and dobbins made some plays too. dont feel like posting about the rest b/c i want to see them against starters, not backups.

oh, and kareem jackson still sucks.

Lestar Jean looks like a better version of Jacoby Jones. Seems like a more polished route runner with better hands. The commentators mentioned how bad the Texans return game was last season - both kickoff returns and punt returns, ranked 27th and 28th respectively. They used to be a top 10 unit in previous seasons. Any idea if Danieal Manning or Jacoby Jones will be a part of the return game once the regular season starts?

May have been the Denver game three or so seasons ago. The Thursday game on NFL Network when Mario Williams had 3.5-sacks by himself.

Was an interesting game. Both teams had some problems, especially with offensive line injuries. Jets where using their third string Center with the first team offense. Greene ran very well against your first team defense, even though you guys didn't have Cushing but granted we didn't have Mangold or Moore. Sanchez looked great to be honest, especially compare to Schaub who looked terrible (No offense). I wish we could have seen Arian Foster or Andre Johnson to really test out our defense. But you can tell the Jets and the Texans will be forces on defense this year. Oh and D'Brick raped Mario

Didn't like what I saw in the second half but that defense looked awfully good in the first half with some players who will play a vital role all season.

yeah, schaub either wasnt comfortable, or barely starting to practice or some shit. he was off on most of his throws. and yeah, mario didnt have a good game. but idk, its just preseason.
