God, I don't know what it is, but I actually think we got this one. I was pretty much in agreement with 538 at 58% to 42% at the beginning, but the more I dive into both teams and their strengths and weaknesses, the more I feel like we're going to dominate this game. Our strongest weapons are things that Philly has struggled with all year. Foles looked God mode last week against a great secondary, but do we really think he'll go another game without at least a couple of mistakes? I don't typically buy-into any of the stupid shit, cherry-picked stats etc.. like jersey color or w/e, but everything seems to be lining up for NE on both the myth/luck side and the just matchup side.

Philly and their fans seem to already be celebrating the victory, and I know it sound silly to think anyone would underestimate NE, but I think Philly is being wayyy too cocky about this, and I feel like it's going to bite them in the ass. Philly has been fantastic against good WRs and against teams who thrive by utilizing their big WRs to pick up huge plays. Philly gets pressure quick, and their secondary is exceedingly capable at covering WRs for more than enough time for that pressure to force a bad/pickable ball, an incomplete or a sack. Problem for Philly with us though, is how bad they've been against teams who have dumped off to RBs or TEs.

"The Eagles have the fourth-worst differential between how they defend wide receivers (71.2 passer rating allowed) versus how they defend tight ends and running backs (100.5). And this deficiency has played a significant role in their infrequent struggles this year."

It's still not terrible, but I guarantee they haven't seen any RB/TE passing combo as brutal as Gronk+Lewis. As long as Brady doesn't get greedy trying to bomb it out to Cooks for the home run ball (fucking Cooks needs to learn to catch the fucking ball), he should be able to absolutely shred Philly with Gronk/Lewis/White/Amendola with quick slants and screens.

Gronk says he's 100% and good to go. We all knew he'd be playing having 2 weeks to prepare and get healthy. As horrible as it is to say, that's probably the best place he could have taken an injury since anywhere else, and he wouldn't be at 100%, but I think he's going to be good to go. Even if Philly does plan accordingly for Gronk and they're doubling up on him constantly, or if they find someone who can play man vs him (Philly fans lmk if you have anyone who can, I kinda doubt it though), it'll just open up our weapons on the other side of the field for chunk yards.

New England 34 to Philadelphia 20. This is going to be the first SB where New England wins by a comfortable amount.

funny you mention that, you could make the case for Kelce/Hunt being as good of a RB/TE duo and when eagles played the chiefs (week 3 this year), they lost 😂.

Very true, I forgot about that, and that was when Smith was out there looking like Brady, and Reid was coaching like BB.

Gronk if officiately cleared to play/out of concussion protocol.

Yep

Did you mean is, or was this just a weird statement?

I can't find anything saying he's cleared yet, but I've heard him say he's good to go and he was practicing in full yesterday. Gronk said he's playing, so I'm thinking he's playing lol. No reason he'd be posting all over twitter that he's going to play, if he wasn't. NE just doing their typically not saying shit thing, even though he's probably been good to be cleared for almost a week now.
