Bostick released. No surprise there. I like the kid, and it sucks he had to botch that play and go down this way, but w/e.

I saw some "source" that said he was asking for 9 mil a year, just under what jordy's getting. Again idk how much bs or truth there is to that but it does sound like a number that both makes sense and should be reasonable enough for the packers to pick up

Eh. While I'll admit Rodgers works better with Jordy, I still maintain that Cobb is more talented and harder to replace.

Wasn't there a ton of hype around Abbrederis before he tore his ACL in the offseason?

I do agree Cobb''s hard to replace as a young explosive slot guy for us when our other receivers don't really fit that bill, but I feel like we have other solid weapons we could use, and we clearly need to pump money into our defense because our defensive drafting results have been sub-par as of lately, and surprisingly signing Peppers worked out really well.

Cobb is being more and more widely regarded as a top 10 WR. Sure, his production will take a hit with a lesser QB, but nowhere near as bad as Jennings' did. His talent isn't easily replaced.

Cobb is a special player and I agree with you he is a hard one to replace.

Eh 9m a year doesn't seem like to bad of a price tag.

I agree, Cobb is better than good, he's really good.

But what I'm saying is is a $9M upgrade at WR from cheap contracts of Adams, Abbrederis, and Boykin a better use than pumping $9M into a piss-poor defense that is holding us back from titles that we continually have no luck with in the draft?

Can't replace somebody who can play all 3 spots, RB, Slot and Outside WR, hard to replace a guy who can do all that at 24 years old. And can return if needed or fair catch is fine by me!
