James Harrison told ESPN's Mike Reiss he could play for up to 2 more years (maximum).

He's a FA this offseason, I'd be willing to resign him for a team friendly deal, though with Hightower coming back to full health we may not choose to resign him.

he can pull the old trick that vets like to pull of staying unsigned until after preseason is over so he can skip the grueling stuff and just hop in when the meaningful games start

Pats are the perfect team to do it with since our preseason lasts until the AFC championship game

Interesting. I think your Hightower point is valid. But it would be nice to have him. Idk if I just have a sweet spot for JH but it seems like he kicks ass and creates penetration when he’s on the field for us.

I’m also interested if Bennett will retire. We have him under contract. But it would be nice to have him another year too, if he wants to play.

About to watch the first two Eps of Tom vs Time, i haven’t had a chance to yet

I'm going crazy looking at all sorts of random stupid shit for this game. I'm so excited :P . I bolded something that I thought was weird, and uncharacteristic for NE, what do you guys think?

NE on the road vs @ Gillette

PPG Scored | 27.875 vs 29.375
PPG Allowed | 16.125 vs 20.875

Brady on the road vs @ Gillette

YPG | 300.25 vs 270.875
TD/INT | 14n6 vs 18n2
Completion | 66% vs 68%

I can't think of a time where we've ever had a stronger road defense vs home, and I can't ever think of a time when Brady's thrown for more yards on the road vs home throughout an entire season. The TD/INT is what I expect, along with the completion %, but that just threw me off. I was surprised to see how well we've been scoring on both the road/home, better than I thought it would be for this year. Minus the turnover ratio though, and those road stats are fucking amazing. About 4 of those picks weren't on Tom, but it doesn't matter, he's got to make sure he doesn't fuck up with his throws, or by putting too much heat on the ball with traffic coming from behind.

Philly on the road vs home this year fyi - Bolded what I think is a pretty big fucking deal lol.

PPG Scored | 28.5 vs 28.625 (game vs Dallas killed them, @ home was smoking road)|
PPG Allowed | 23.5 vs 13.375

This is their first road game through the playoffs, and holy shit is it night/day for their defense @ home and away.

The line has moved down to -4.5 for New England, but 538 has had it at NE -2.5 since the two teams earned their spots. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the line is 3-3.5 by the time we finally kickoff. There's going to be loads of action the day before and day of. 538 is giving NE a 58% chance of winning to the Eagles 42% chance. 538 has been incredibly solid all year (as they always are), but they were WAY off when they had us beating Jacksonville by 10 with an 81% chance of victory. I know we won and all, but that game was fucking tight, and if it wouldn't have been for some rough calls, Brady would have had to drive down the field and score again. I believe he would have with how he was completely dismantling that team at the end, but that's just because Brady turns into a God in the clutch lol.

He called his daughter a pissant or something. What a class act from a homosexual liberal.

Reimers comment

“being an annoying little pissant”

Quote
"Well, I think that – I've tried to come on this show for many years and have showed you guys a lot of respect. I've always tried to come and do a good job for you guys, so it's very disappointing when you that certainly," Brady said. " But my daughter or any child, they certainly don't deserve that."

The co-host, Kirk Minihane, then apologized to Brady and WEEI announced that it has suspended Reimer for the comments.

"I'll obviously evaluate whether I want to come on this show again, so I really don't have much to say this morning. So, maybe I'll speak with you guys some other time," he said.

@WEEI says it has suspended host Alex Reimer for a comment about Tom Brady's daughter.

WEEI says the suspension took effect Friday, but other hosts on the station say Reimer traveled to Minneapolis for WEEI this weekend for Super Bowl coverage.

what does that mean? Actually enforcing a suspension him would cost the company extra money sending him home early?

I'm completely lost on the context here

I think it's just K&C ranking on Mutt. Reimer made the remark on Mutt At Night, and Mutt is just a naturally nice guy who gets picked on because of it. So idk if Reimer made the flight to Minneapolis since I think they (WEEI crew) left Sunday, but if he did and it sounds like he's getting fired, he's gonna have to catch a flight home. Idk, could be wrong, but that's what it seems like to me.

I was just talking about how Reimer was one of my favorite a few pages back, and then this happens. How could you think that's a good idea to say? Idiot.
