Injury was probably too serious to recover from and that’s why he looks so slow/lazy.

They might hope at some point he turns a corner plus he’s already guaranteed his money. I’m sure if there was anyone in FA available they’d cut him

I look at the situation that Ansah and Clowney are very similar. It's their "prove it" year (for their future prospect) and Clowney is doing work where as Ansah has no answer to the call.
