I don't blame Burnett for that. He could have picked up a few more yards before contact, but he was protecting the ball. He gave the offense a chance to end the game and they managed to lose 4 yards in a 3 and out.

Bostick made a mistake there, Haha made a mistake on the 2pt conversion. But this game is squarely on the offense and the coaching. This game should have been out of reach at halftime, and the coaching once again went into the prevent/conservative bullshit in the third that costs us all the time.

Dude watch the replay of the interception, the only person near him is two offensive lineman still in their respective spots..

He gains at least 20 and puts us at the 40-35 line which is damn close to field goal range..
Man you can NOT slide with five minutes left.

Overall, McCarthy bitched out and called a shitty game at the end and was not aggressive enough.

I'm extremely disappointed that we lost because this team was special and we may not see this again for some time.

Hope we sign Cobb, and Tramon played well all year but chances are that he's gone. Buluga.. Idk we lose some key players.

And FOR GOD SAKES if we have AJ Hawk and Brad Jones in the starting lineup.. I'll murder somebody.

Heh. It's like I said earlier in the year - the season is a lose/lose, because either we make it far enough that the coaching staff remains in tact or Capers' (and I didn't say it, but no denying MM's part in it anymore) holds us back and gets fired, but wastes a great roster.

I love Hawk, I really do. But it's just time to move on. The problem is both he and Jones are under contract for another year and have a combined cap hit of nearly $10m. So I doubt they do anything more than take up cap space and come in to fuck up every now and then next year.

Cobb > Bulaga > Tramon

Hopefully we let Kuhn walk if he won't take a pay cut. He's another guy I love and I'd hate to see him leave, but with Lacy taking on a role as a 3 down back, there's just no point in paying Kuhn so much to do so little.

I actually enjoyed watching the defense this year, the defensive line got pressure all throughout the season and our safetys finally got interceptions.

Our one spot was our MLB and we were missing two so 9/11 players were solid. Thought the defense played well and was called well for the players going to the 4-3 for the most part.

I'm just not ready for this season to be over, so sad.

Literally yelling at everything that talks, walks, or moves. Just angry at the world but super sad.

I know the feel, except im doing the complete opposite. Not talking or responding to anyone, even the wife. Idc.

Better than how I usually react by screaming and breaking shit.

They came along well, but at the end of the day it's the same story. The prevent defense couldn't get the job done and the conservative play calling on offense didn't help. You can't fucking go into kill the clock mode at halftime. I know players made mistakes, but I put a lot more weight on this on letting up early than a bad play or two.

Yeah true, which in effect goes back to the head coach. Ughh so frustrating.

it baffles me how often we see teams lose because they play super conservative with leads at the end of games, and then run a prevent defense that gets shredded for a 60yd drive in less than 90 seconds.

when will coaches learn?

I was really confused as to why mccarthy didnt go for the tds on 4th and goal seems like we did it all year and u wait till the nfc championship game to start playing conservative and kick fg's? I just dont get it when i saw us go that route in the beginning of the game i just knew kicking those fg's were gonna end up biting us in the ass the seahawks literally played 4 minutes of football and won the game....i think this has to be the WORST loss ive ever watched as a packer fan even worse than the packers vs gaints nfc championship game when favre threw the pick
