Yea he will, it was important that they got an Offensive coach in here for Trevor, it's just the way they went about this whole coaching search that's a huge fucking joke.

Pederson was the first candidate they interviewed (you could only interview people without jobs at that point in time), it took them 33 days before they held a 2nd interview with him.

Byron was going to be the hire, but he straight up told Khan that he wasn't coming unless Baalke is gone. Good on Byron for keeping to his word and telling Khan to fuck off. Baalke is a cancer.

We need OL help, but I don't know if I can really get behind taking a RT #1 overall. It could happen though, Doug knows the importance of a great OL. He had a really good one in Philly.

That's going to be the debate for months now, Thibs vs Hutch vs the OTs.

I don't see a QB worth anybody trading up to #1 for, so a trade back may not be likely. Maybe we take a lesser deal if somebody is in love with one of Thibs/Hutch.

Evan Neal would be a great pick it just isn't flashy. If the guys an all pro left tackle I don't think there's anything wrong using the 1st overall pick on him. Trevor needs a protector

When Doug was in Philly, he and the Eagles front office team building philosophy has always been build from the inside out. I imagine he'll try to build the same way in Jacksonville

Would he be the LT though? We drafted Walker Little last year to be the LT of the future. He was a top OT prospect 2 years ago before he tore his ACL early in the season. He then was a covid opt-out in 2020 so he didn't play that season and declared for the draft after it. So he hadn't played football in 2 years and dropped in the draft due to it. We drafted him #45 this past draft. He only played in a couple games (because the coaching staff was dumb and barely played any rookies), but he played really well in that small sample size. He's a massive dude at 6'7 325lbs.

So even if they drafted Neal, I'm not so certain he'd beat out Little at LT to begin with. If they did draft him though we'd have two mountains at the OT positions with Little and Neal.

Wherever he plays at left or right, he'll be dominant. I'm sure they'll explore both at RT and just find out whichever combination works best. If they feel Neal can excel at RT they may just put him there

Either way I think it's a good move for them

Tony Boselli finally made it into the Hall of Fame! Should have been put in years ago, but better late than never.

First Jaguar to be inducted into the HoF. Now it's time for Fred Taylor to get in.
