Most my strategies support the use of averages just like home/away teams winning average is 7/8 or 8/7 (baseball, football) haven't tested in hockey or basketball yet. I have been testing a strategy for spreads but has been some what inconsistent since I started testing for only 3 weeks. Typically its either 5/10 or 7/8 of the underdogs or favorites will cover per 15 games played for the week. I don't go strictly off these but I use them to help support my initial analysis. Especially late games when I can narrow things down.

I don't think the strategy/tip you posted makes any sense either, but I don't really care to debate it.

Its just an average of underdogs winning s/u that is all. The average is 3 underdogs win per 15 games or 4 underdogs win per 15 games.
