Dumbest most homer shit I’ve ever read

U ever heard of the franchise tag??

me? yes, U ever heard of a quote? (I'm not the author lol)

I think the point is it's more likely Jimmy G signs a long term deal with 49ers over the Browns, but yeah you have a point.

The 49ers have been just as bad as Cleveland, before jimmy G got their the difference was literally 2 wins in 2 seasons, but the 9ers already drAfted 2 busts defensive lineman with their last 2 first round picks, and don’t have any receivers/good players on their roster and not nearly the draft capital or picks Cleveland has.

The culture in Cleveland sucks, but it would have been a much better supporting cast for Garoppolo

But I don’t care because I’d rather have the draft pick and Kizer in all honesty, I just get kinda pissed when I see dumb as fuck articles like that from front runner patriot fans

Nevermind, I forgot about Arik Armstead, and Solomon Thomas

So the 49ers have spent 4 first round picks on defensive lineman in 3 years, and none of them have totaled more than 3 sacks in a season.

Reuben Foster has some of the worst rookie numbers I’ve ever seen for a linebacker who played a full set of snaps

Agree

Hue is a horrible coach and the offense is way too complicated (not in a good way) for his 21 year old qb

But yes shanahan is a good OC and will probably make a decent coach

Let’s see what Jimmy does against real teams, not the rams backups and the bears, and then we can praise him some more. Jags game impressed me tho

But to insinuate that they didn’t trade him to Cleveland, because they didn’t want him to become a FA and sign with an AFC East team might be one of the stupidest things I’ve ever read. Absolutely atrocious, ignorant, front runner logic spoken like a Boston fan who knows nothing about football.

Based on the objective facts that are available to everyone, this is true enough. The ESPN article, however, claims there is another aspect to the trade. It contends that the trade was predicated on BB's personal relationship with Kyle Shanahan. It implies that BB believed Shanahan would create a safe landing spot for Jimmy, both in terms of the actual QB situation and the organization's commitment to resigning him. Perhaps the Browns, by contrast, were simply an unknown to BB. Unknowns include the possibility of bad things, like Jimmy becoming a Jet or Bill.

I'm not trying to defend the ESPN article or its claims. That's just the story that has been laid out for us.

I think that bellicheck being friends with shanahan and sending jimmy there to help his boy is way more realistic then him shipping jimmy to SF so he couldn’t sign with an afc east team. That’s just the dumbest shit I’ve heard in a hot minute.
