Yeah I don't want to play any of the remaining NFC east teams to be honest. If I had to pick one though I'd go Eagles only cuz no Wentz.

Bring on the Vikings

I think it would be cool if the Vikings get a super bowl appearance in their own stadium, too, regardless of the opponent.
I always thought it would be cool if the previous years SB winner hosts the next years SB. The owners would love it, and if your team is good enough to make it 2 years in a row, you deserve it!
Logistically it would never work. Couldn't imagine SB traffic on Rte 1 holy smokes!

“They never offered @JimmyG_10 to the @Browns this fall,” Thomas tweeted. “They dealt him to @49ers without taking bids. They were concerned that trading him to a team without stability could lead him to signing with an AFC East team in 2018.”

Thomas went on to say he thinks Belichick traded Garoppolo too suddenly.

“Now, remaining argument is; was Bill too hasty in the process that he didn’t get fair value for Jimmy. I’d argue he was, due to trade deadline, middle of the season, etc,” Thomas wrote.

According to Thomas, the Browns' awfulness adversely affected the Patriots, causing them to sell low on their next franchise quarterback. That takes suckiness to an entirely new level.

This, and then there's the reasoning that regardless of what they offered, BB and everyone else had some respect for Jimmy, and didn't want him going to Cleveland. At least, that's what I've seen a few places. If that's the truth, and NE took less to help him avoid that dumpster fire of a city, that's pretty fucking awesome.

pretty much explains it. its just a risk belichick wasn't willing to take. long term decisions for the best interest of the team. just goes to show you how much he believes in brady still (currently) and how all of the recent ESPN press is just a load of dookey

According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer’s Terry Pluto, former Browns executive vice president of football operations Sashi Brown was willing to part with Houston's first-round pick (that Cleveland owns) and "other goodies" in exchange for Garoppolo. The report adds Cleveland called the Patriots two days before Garoppolo was dealt and were told he wasn't available.

That pick now is No. 4 overall, and with the success Garoppolo had in San Francisco, the Patriots' pick they received will now be No. 41 or 42, pending a coin flip.

"I've dealt with some non-Tennessee subjects here over the last few days," Belichick said in his opening statement Tuesday at his weekly press conference. "At this point I'm all in on Tennessee, so I'll answer any questions about the Titans but that's it."

Later on in the press conference, Belichick was asked directly if he's addressed the team about the ESPN report.

"Yeah, we're on Tennessee," Belichick said.

😂

on to Tennessee guise
