Kick rocks

Its just funny that lions fans try to talk the talk and walk the walk like yall are a real organization. Lions are just cannon fodder and destined to forever be a sidekick to relevant teams like Greenbay

Hope this works out, i have skepticism, but hell with this team, maybe an off-the-board hire is what we need. Hiring the consensus best choice didnt work out so well for us with fat pat.

in hindsight that was never going to work.

just looking at the coaches tells me campbell is going to be more inspirational as a leader. patricia prolly gained 100 pounds in 2 and a half years, and he wasn't small when we hired him.

campbell is shredded, former player, high energy. seems like they feel like he will be a great person to move the team culture in the direction we want it to go, which honestly has probably been the primary problem with us historically.

the best culture we had as an organization recently was in the caldwell era, and that was by far our most successful. hopefully campbell can move the needle in that department.

TBH they should shut down that franchise and turn the Lions stadium into a massive homeless shelter, like off of The Last of Us 2.

Oh hell yea great idea. I've been saying for years the NFL needs to force a sale to Toronto. Give that poor franchise a fighting chance

Yeah no doubt, the belichik coaching tree has produced so many duds on top of all that, patricia seems like he's is just another one who cant live up to the hype.

Expectations are obviously tempered as the roster needs alot of help, but having former players run the team seems like it could work. These guys need a kick in the ass motivationaly and it seems thats Campbells wheel house.
Also with Campbell being a former TE im curious how he'll work with Hockenson and expand his role in the offense. I've always loved the TE position, as a kid Tony Gonzales was probably my 2nd favorite player behind Barry. I thought Hockenson made great steps this year and i hope they can build on it and give us a legit weapon to throw to especially if golladay doesnt return.

Yeah Hockenson's development is crucial. We can't keep whiffing on our first round picks.

I love the Brad Holmes hire as well, I think that will really improve our drafting, especially in finding value in later rounds.

I have very low expectations for the 2021-22 season, especially if we opt to rebuild around a new QB (unless somehow we can swing a trade for Watson). But I have high hopes for our future with the moves we made this offseason. Seems like Sheila is a lot more invested in the franchise's success than Martha was also, so that could be a big factor.

Yeah next year is going to be rough, but i wouldnt be opposed to drafting Fields if he falls, let him sit a year or two behind stafford to tale his throwing game to the next level. But i doubt he falls to 7th.

And it definitely seems like Sheila is more invested, im glad somebody finally cares. The fords have just been happy owning a football team, its like a status symbol for them, not actually caring about the on-field product. It does feel refreshing that it seems something actually might be changing.

Lions Need to Trade Up for Alabama DeVonta Smith

If Resigning Jones Jr and Golladay isnt gonna happen.
Why Keep Stafford if your not keeping his guys?
"You keep Stafford because Hes a Our Baller"

Glad we have a scouting gm. should hopefully be good for drafting and finding potential in some new talent. Thats what we need new talent. Especially on defense!!
Hope we pay Jones Jr for sure
Really like Mohammad Sanu dude was a beast. Took the coaches too long to put him out. Dude got hands

Cephus unsure who I thought looked worse getting thrown in the Fire him or Okudah. The young fellas will develop I hope. Because both didnt match their grade in picks last year imo.

The running back situation
Last year I was disappointed getting rid of Bo Scarbough, was also disappointed they got rid of 5th round pick Jason Huntley before using him. A.P took both their spots. Possible future backs. We Dropped em both for A.P. A.P hes got it yet, defense never played well enough to give this man the touches he needs. He make few nice runs and get pulled or pass pass. Was weird tbh but maybe because we watched him run 30 times for 150+ yards againist Detroit for 10 years before that? lol

Swift shows flashes! Really good pick. Will win more games because of this man soon I feel like. Need someone who can help absorb the punishment behind him. Is Kerryons knee strong enough?

Defense, just blows, I hope we can afford Romeo he was a bright spot!
