Saw you guys arguing, went to smoke, and this is EXACTLY what I thought when I was going over the matchup in my head. Jacksonville is a better team than I've been willing to admit this season. While I believe they're capable of keeping many teams under 10 points, Pittsburgh when they're playing even meh, is not one of them. I know they already stomped them bad once, but I think we can all admit that Pitt just had their worst game of the year that week, and that shit can happen to anyone (Broncos v Seattle always comes to mind when thinking of an amazing offense shitting the bed). Bortles also looked fucking awful today. If he can even play at a game manager level, and Jacksonville's defense does what they've done almost every week this year (minus against the God that is Jimmy G), they've got a good chance at winning.

If NE gets through Tennessee, which also isn't a certain, I like our chances of beating either Pitt or Jacksonville, but I think Jacksonville has the better team to beat NE. If they go after Brady HARD, they could destroy us.

Steelers have a pretty under the radar pass rush this season.

They actually led the league in sacks and set a new franchise record with 56. Jags were 2nd I think.

If there is a rematch with Pitt and NE I think it will be just like last game in terms of how close the score will be and it being decided late in the 4th.

After watching the Jags today I really like the Steelers chances next week.

Yeah Pitt played bad that game, but there are moments when teams play bad every game, and it's up to the other team to capitalize on it.

I think the Steelers are definitely favorites, but I bet it's closer than people think, with the jags having a real shot to win.

Honestly to me it's like 57/43

Edit: UGH I'm dreading the headlines about harrison v Steelers if the Steelers/Pats do win..

I'm around there too, I was thinking a more normal number 60/40 :P , but ya, I think Jacksonville has as good of a chance of beating Pitt as any team not named NE in the AFC. NE just tends to shit on Pitt for w/e reason, and I'll probably be feeling like 70/30 or 80/20 if that ends up being the matchup. I think I'd rather player Pittsburgh tbh, I hate playing against a team with a front 4 good enough, that they don't even need to blitz to constantly pressure the QB. Lets them save the creative and fucked up blitzes for those pivotal 3rd and 4th down moments, and we've seen time and time again that a strong front is the key to beating NE.

I still have you guys favored ofc, I just think Jacksonville is definitely good enough to beat you guys. Pittsburgh should be able to destroy NE. They've got a better team all around. It honestly doesn't make sense what happens when we play you guys. Last year in the playoffs didn't make any fucking sense either. If I'm being truly honest with myself, it's just hard for me to be scared of you guys, when we've had such insane success against you in the past.

What other kind of rebuttal is needed? You made the dumb statement that we'd be bounced in the first round. Yet we didn't and now you're changing your tune because you know you were wrong.

Don't try and now use the excuse that you only said it because you didn't know who our opponent would be. Oh, but it was only to rile us up right? Shut up lmao.

At a later time, before the wild card game, I predicted the Jaguars would win, "changing my tune" would imply that I said the Bills would win the game prior, which I did not... Man, either English isn't your strong point or you are easily flustered. And I afk'd for a few and here you are still responding to me? Pretty sure that's almost the definition of riled up, lmao. Guess you don't give up...

They're going to go for probably 7k+, I'm good on that shit. I have the Falcons already anyways, hopefully if we get knocked out, they have a fairy tale 6th seed story after the worst Superbowl lost in NFL history and then an abysmal season.

I think any of those 3 can beat each other tbh. Pats and Steelers are better than the Jags overall but I don't think either one are unbeatable.

Titans are the only team left that I feel has less than a 10% chance of winning.

I'm with you there, but NE has still been pissing me off with how inconsistent they've been. Even a team like them might be able to beat us.

Nono I just mean the game

We both get whatever we can, pool it together for the spread and split it 50/50 if we win

I can prob get around 3k if not more
