Too bad the Texans didn't make it to yesterday's games.

Eh, the adrenaline of the last game and finally making the playoffs, a long with Wade Phillips being out makes it not that surprising.

Rough Couple weeks, but i still have faith in the Texans and in the coaching staff to come up with some gameplans that work well with there strengths and help mask our weaknesses

Andre Johnson (hamstring) is expected to be full speed for Week 17 against Tennessee, the Houston Chronicle reports. ( 12 hours ago)

The good thing is the final game against the Titans on Sunday is meaningless. Houston already locked down the number 3 seed and can no longer get a first-round bye after losing to the Panthers and Colts. Just need to get through it without any major injuries.

I don't buy that he'll be full speed. Andre Johnson may be on a limited play count in that game just to get some game action before the playoffs. Why risk him going all out for this one - treat it like a pre-season game? Save that hard running for the wild-card game the following weekend against the Bengals (most likely).

Last thing I want to see is Andre Johnson trying to embarrass Cortland Finnegan, as he always does, and then blow out a hamstring running a deep route and then we have no chance to go far in the playoffs without him. And Wade Phillips being back is the most important thing. I just don't buy this talk of the Texans trying to avoid three losses in a row going into the playoffs. Who cares? All that matters is the wild-card game right now.

Hell, I would play Matt Schaub in a casted foot and Mario Williams off IR (despite being two months away from returning to football activities). It's the damn playoffs. You die on the field playing your hardest if need be. But seriously, why not Jake Delhomme who has big-game experience? Will 5th-round rookie T.J. Yates really lead us to the promise land? He's been so average at best and Kubiak's pussy playcalling is a joke. Way too conservative.

hmm, if houston lose next week to titans, and bengals lose as well, does that mean we get the titans for the playoffs?

Do the Jets own the tie-breaker over the Titans? It could be the Jets if they win and Bengals lose. I think the Titans need both the Bengals and Jets to lose. But either way: Bengals, Jets or Titans. I believe Houston has a chance to beat any of those three teams in the wild-card game so long as Andre Johnson is 100 % and Wade Phillips is calling the defensive plays. The Jets would be the tougher matchup of the three.

Oh wow, the Titans need a miracle. LOL

The most obvious is Tennessee must win on Sunday against the suddenly beatable Houston Texans. After that, it gets a bit complicated.

For this Music City Miracle to transpire, Cincinnati must fall to Baltimore, the Jets have to lose to the Dolphins, while Denver and Oakland both need to win their matchups against Kansas City and San Diego, respectively.

Aside from beating the Texans, they need a Cincinnati loss, Jets win, Oakland win and Denver loss.

It has to do with the tie-breaking procedures. A Jets win can actually benefit the Titans if the Bengals lose, Raiders win and Broncos lose.

Or if the Bengals and Jets both lose, then the Titans need both the Broncos and Raiders to win.

Screw it all. Maybe I just want the Texans to end the Titans season... LOL

@richeisen
Rich Eisen TEN scenario, if u can follow: TEN W, CIN L, NYJ L, OAK W & DEN W = TEN in. Same with TEN win, CIN loss, NYJ win, OAK win & DEN loss. Whew.
