Fields has bust written all over him.

I liked Wilson before last nights game. Coastal Carolina is legit and he drove them down the field at the end to win that game. The receiver just came up 1 yard short.

You scout the player, not the team/teams. Wilson has natural arm talent that you cant teach. He regularly makes NFL throws and makes some throws similar to Mahomes. Some of his side arm throws/off body throws scream Mahomes. I'm not saying he's Mahomes or anything like that, but that same natural arm talent is there. He makes it look effortless throwing the ball.

Fields hasn't really played anybody either. Indiana and Northwestern made him look terrible.

There's a reason why plenty of people have Wilson as their #2 QB behind Lawrence. The kid is pretty impressive.

To me he reminds me weirdly enough of russell wilson lol there’s a reason his nickname is Zach “russell” wilson. Very similar ability to escape tackles / the pocket. Throws the ball with both great touch and zip. Quick release. Honestly hope the vikings make moves for him but I doubt it at this point

I've seen comparisons that hes got a little mix of Wilson, Mahomes and Rodgers in his play style. You can definitely see some of the similarities when you watch him play, but those are some pretty high comparisons at this point. Will be interesting to see how big he actually is come Combine time. Will he be 6'1 or 6'2. They list him at 6'3, but we all know how those listings go and he doesn't look 6'3.

You guys would have to trade into the top 10, possibly top 5 to get him imo. Currently picking 14th isn't going to get it done imo. Would likely be looking at Mac Jones, Kyle Trask, or Trey Lance in that range.

I think we definitely take a QB whether it's #1 or #2.

Then you got the Jets who could stick with Darnold and take Sewell at #2 (if they don't get #1 obv), or they could take a QB.

You then gotta worry about the Panthers who need a QB.

Falcons could take a QB to groom behind Ryan for 1 year. There's an out in his contract after next season. That all depends on what the new FO decides, but them taking a QB wouldn't surprise me.

Maybe Detroit takes one to groom behind Stafford for a year. Again depends on what the new FO decides, but wouldn't be surprising.

Patriots and Bears are currently right behind you on the draft board and could/should be looking for a QB to draft as well.

I'm not saying fields is a better prospect, I'm just saying its Lawrence then a massive gap to whoever you like 2nd best.

You would know.

Of course, Lawrence is the guy. We want to lose out and get him, just like the Jets fans do.

I'm just saying I'm not going to be that upset if we don't get the #1 pick. I think Wilson can be really good. Now if we draft somebody like Jones or Trask #2, then i'll be upset lol.

Everybody else..

I agree no way currently right now we get him, although all the teams from #7 to us just need to win 1 game and we could jump all the way up to the #7 pick, I don’t think we will be 7 but I can see us being top 10. We’d still need to trade up which sucks the jaguars screwed us out of our 2nd round pick. At least we have 3 3rd round picks this year so still possible to swing a trade
