Even in the past few years behind Finley he hasn't looked good. Although when Finley was healthy and not dropping the ball with his brick hands, he was a stud so it's hard to make comparisons.

finley was exactly what you just said you wanted RR to become. Finley was never really known for his blocking, he was known for getting targets and dropping passes and randomly catching 3 TD passes in games.

Unlike Brady and Brees though, our O-Line hasn't been able to protect Rodgers worth shit the past few years, so a blocking FB and TE has become almost a necessity to give him a little extra time.
