We're the youngest team in the NFL.

12 draft picks in this coming draft, with 4 currently inside the top 50 picks and 7-8 within the first 4 rounds. Projected to have around $100m in cap space this off season.

Some nice young pieces to build around in RB James Robinson, WR DJ Chark, WR LaViska Shenault, LB Myles Jack, DE Josh Allen, CB CJ Henderson, DT DaVon Hamilton etc.

Even though our record is shit, our rookies and 2nd year players (which account for over 1/3 of our roster) have gotten a shit load of playing time/experience this season.

Too soon to call anybody busts yet from this rookie class, but our #20 pick DE K'lavon Chaisson hasn't did jack shit this year. He was raw coming out of LSU and needs some time, but he hasn't really even flashed this year. Don't even notice him on the field most of the time, which isn't good. Pretty invisible so far.

All will depend on who we hire as our new GM this off season, and who he then decides to hire as the HC. Even though our GM just got fired, we're keeping the coaching staff in place until the end of the season. No guarantees they get fired, but with a new GM eventually coming into the building, I don't see how the majority of the coaching staff isn't let go. We need a full house clean and a new GM will typically want "his" guys in the building.

Finding that franchise QB will be top priority in this coming draft. It's likely we'll be picking in the top 2, so we should have our pick of any QB who isn't named Trevor Lawrence. No chance the Jets pass on him if he declares and I don't seen them winning 2 or more of their remaining games.

All in all, feeling pretty positive about the future, but that can all change of course. Especially if the new GM keeps this coaching staff in place.

I cannot believe the terrible luck you guys have had in the qb department. Like, it's a known fact that it is one of the most important player on the field and yet it's just been miss after miss it seems like.

David Garrard was okay for a little bit.

I really thought Minshew would do well. He was decent at WSU.

Brunell still the best QB we've ever had.

Minshew is the perfect back up QB, but he has his limitations at the NFL level. Mostly his arm strength. He's basically a young Ryan Fitzpatrick. Which isn't really a knock to Minshew, as Fitz has had a fine career, but he isn't that "Franchise QB" most every team is looking for. I see Minshew having a similar career as him.

Rookie CBs Luq Barcoo and Josiah Scott are having one hell of a welcome to the NFL in their first 2 career starts. Went against Jarvis Landry last week and now they get Adam Thielen and Justin Jefferson this week. Great experience for the young bucks.

Our Secondary is shredded. 4 CBs out and a couple Safeties. UDFA rookie Luq Barcoo got worked a few times vs Jefferson, but that was to be expected.

Our pass rush finally showed up(despite missing Josh Allen) and our 2nd 1st round rookie (Chaisson) had the best game of his young career so far. He has been pretty invisible so far this season, but he finally flashed on Sunday.

Our WR group is the best unit on this team. Chark and Shenault are building blocks going forward and our other rookie WR Collin Johnson has put together two back to back solid games. He's a big WR this team has been lacking. He's 6'6. Nice to see him getting some more reps.

Robinsongod is a beast. Still can't believe he went undrafted. Just goes to show how overrated a 40 yard dash time can be for RBs (he ran 4.64 at the combine and that was the knock on him). Vision is and always will be the #1 trait for a RB. He very rarely gets negative yards. I could count on one hand the amount of times hes been tackled behind the line of scrimmage this season. Even on busted plays, he still finds a way to get at least 1-2 positive yards.

Offense lacks a QB (obviously), TE, and some depth on the OL, but its just about set up for a top pick rookie QB to step right in.

Defense is ridiculously young and pretty banged up, but they're still battling out there. Lots of young guys getting a bunch of experience, which is always good.

Bunch of draft picks and cap space coming for us this off season. Hopefully the new GM doesn't screw shit up.

I was flipping over to the Jets game during commercials etc. Rooting them on to win, while getting nervous that my Jags were gonna win lmao. Luckily Glennon held true to his dog shit ways and kept our streak going. I was starting to get so hyped up until the Jets clearly tank jobbed that play with 5 seconds left in the game. :wallbash:
